Department Overview
Eastside Fire & Rescue, based in Issaquah, WA, protects suburban and forested communities east of Seattle. They serve ~150,000 people across 75 square miles, including high-risk wildland interface.
Community & Response
Staffed with full-time firefighters, these wildland units enable rapid initial attack on brush and forest fires—critical in the dry months. Their dual delivery strengthens overall wildfire readiness.
