Department Overview

Valley Regional Fire Authority (VRFA) serves the cities of Auburn, Algona, and Pacific in south King County, WA. Covering approximately 37 square miles, VRFA protects a population of nearly 100,000, with a combination of urban and suburban development bordered by brush and forest lands.

Community & Response

This unit enhances VRFA’s WUI readiness during wildfire season and supports off-road operations in the Green River Valley. The build’s maneuverability and dual-agent system provide rapid initial attack across a diverse urban-suburban interface.
