Department Overview
Pocatello Fire Department serves the City of Pocatello and surrounding areas of Bannock County, Idaho. The department operates a combination of full-time stations providing fire suppression, EMS, and rescue services.
Community & Response
The district’s wildland-urban interface and seasonal wind conditions create recurring brush fire challenges. The SWEV Model 1 Wildland Unit enhances initial-attack capability and reliability for grass, brush, and interface incidents throughout southeastern Idaho.
