Department Overview

South Pierce Fire & Rescue serves the communities of southern Pierce County, Washington, protecting a diverse mix of residential, rural, agricultural, and wildland-urban interface areas. The department provides fire suppression, emergency medical, rescue, and wildland response while also supporting regional and statewide mutual aid operations.

Community & Response

This Model 3 expands South Pierce Fire & Rescue’s wildland capability with a proven configuration modeled after similar SeaWestern apparatus operating throughout Western Washington. Designed for rapid initial attack and extended wildland operations, the unit is also configured for interoperability with Washington State Department of Natural Resources apparatus and will support the department during regional and statewide wildfire mobilizations. Its combination of water, pumping capability, equipment storage, and off-road mobility provides a versatile platform for both local response and deployment beyond the district.
