Department Overview
Based in Yakima County, WA, West Valley Fire Department (YCFD #12) serves a growing residential and agricultural region west of the city of Yakima. The department covers roughly 90 square miles and serves a population of over 22,000.
Community & Response
This wildland engine bolsters the department’s initial attack capacity during Central Washington’s dry summer fire season. With off-road ability and water/foam capacity, it’s essential for WUI response along canyons, orchards, and residential hillsides.
