Department Overview
Metlakatla Volunteer Fire & Rescue protects the community of Metlakatla, Alaska—the only Native reservation in the state—located on Annette Island in Southeast Alaska. The department provides fire suppression, EMS, and rescue services for a close-knit coastal community.
Community & Response
With isolated access and limited municipal water infrastructure, the Fouts 3000 Tender provides a critical boost to fireground capability and rural water transport. The new unit enhances reliability and self-sufficiency for emergency operations within the island community.
