Department Overview

Grants Fire & Rescue provides fire protection, emergency medical services, and rescue response to the City of Grants and surrounding communities in western New Mexico. The department serves a diverse response area that includes residential neighborhoods, commercial corridors, rural communities, and extensive wildland terrain throughout Cibola County.

Community & Response

This SWEV Model 5 wildland apparatus will support Grants Fire & Rescue’s response capabilities across a wide range of incidents, including wildland fires, rural responses, and wildland-urban interface events. Built for the rugged terrain and demanding conditions of the Southwest, the unit enhances the department’s ability to protect both the local community and surrounding natural resources.
