Central Pierce Fire & Rescue serves the City of Puyallup and surrounding communities across central Pierce County, Washington. The department provides full-service fire suppression, EMS, technical rescue, and hazardous materials response, operating from multiple stations staffed by career personnel.

Covering dense suburban and commercial zones along the I-5 and SR-512 corridors, Central Pierce responds to a wide range of emergency types. The KME Walk-In Rescue enhances on-scene logistics, rehabilitation, and technical rescue operations, supporting the district’s specialized response teams throughout Pierce County.
