Department Overview
Fort Mojave Mesa Fire District serves the rapidly growing community of Fort Mohave, Arizona—located along the Colorado River in Mohave County. The department provides fire suppression, emergency medical, and technical rescue services to a diverse area that includes residential neighborhoods, commercial corridors, and recreational zones along the river.
Community & Response
The district covers a wide expanse of desert terrain and riverfront properties, responding to incidents ranging from structure and brush fires to boating and water rescues. With seasonal population increases and high summer temperatures, reliable wildland capability is essential. The new SWEV Model 5 Wildland Unit enhances the department’s readiness for brush and interface fires while supporting all-hazard responses across the region.
