Department Overview

Junction City Fire & Rescue protects the City of Junction City and surrounding rural communities in Oregon’s southern Willamette Valley, serving a diverse response area that includes residential neighborhoods, agricultural lands, industrial properties, and wildland-urban interface. With increasing wildfire risk throughout the region, the department relies on versatile apparatus capable of supporting both daily emergency response and extended wildland operations.

Community & Response

Built on the SWEV Model 1 platform, this new wildland apparatus expands Junction City Fire & Rescue’s ability to respond quickly across varied terrain while maintaining the flexibility needed for all-hazards incidents. The compact, off-road capable design provides dependable access to rural roads, fields, and interface areas, while the integrated pump-and-tank system and purpose-built equipment storage support initial attack, structure protection, and extended wildfire operations. Designed around the operational demands of Western fire agencies, the Model 1 delivers the reliability and capability crews need wherever the mission takes them.
