Department Overview
Kirkland Fire-Rescue provides fire protection and emergency medical services to the City of Kirkland, Washington, and surrounding communities along the eastern shore of Lake Washington. The department operates multiple fire stations and serves a diverse service area that includes residential neighborhoods, commercial districts, and urban interface areas where development meets forested terrain.
Community & Response
This SWEV Model 5 wildland apparatus will support Kirkland Fire-Rescue’s response needs both within the city and across the region. In addition to local operations, the unit will be utilized for Washington State mobilization deployments in coordination with the Washington State DNR, supporting wildfire response efforts throughout the state.
