Department Overview
Snohomish County Fire Protection District 19 serves the unincorporated Silvana area and surrounding communities, covering roughly 25 square miles in western Washington.
Located near the Stillaguamish River, the district protects a mix of rural residences, farmland, and forested terrain, with a population of approximately 3,000.
Community & Response
This unit strengthens wildland firefighting and initial response in an area where water access can be limited. With a primarily volunteer crew, Silvana relies on agile, multi-role apparatus to manage seasonal brush fires, structure responses, and mutual aid coverage across northwest Snohomish County.
