Department Overview

South Whidbey Fire/EMS serves a rural island population of about 15,000 across 66 square miles on Whidbey Island in Puget Sound. The department operates with a combination of career and volunteer responders out of multiple stations.

Community & Response

Island response requires reliability and flexibility—this pumper delivers both. It supports structural firefighting, marine mutual aid, and long-distance calls on Whidbey’s rural roads and ferry-access points.
