The Union Gap Fire Department, located just south of Yakima, WA, protects a mix of residential, commercial, and industrial zones across 5 square miles and serves a population of about 6,200. The department is staffed with career and volunteer personnel.

The unit increases the department’s capacity for fire suppression and EMS support. Its maneuverable chassis and pump panel layout are especially suited for tight urban streets and fast-developing fire conditions in the city’s commercial zones.
